It's Just that Deep
like life, life you and me
I believe wedding films & photos should be deep. Like life, like you and me. After all, wedding films & photos last longer than life. They last throughout your marriage as a reminder of your love and commitment. They carry on through the passing of loved ones that are seen on the screen. They reach your children. I believe each wedding has at least one story, memory and a lesson worth passing down for generations.
For myself, telling an authentic story is more important than a perfect angle or endless slow motion clips that make you look pretty (although we like those too). I'm people focused - set on things like catching all your grandparents on camera, raw emotion rising up during a first look, and being present for moments you aren’t able to be in.
Hi, Nice to meet you!
I'm Sarah Struttmann
a wedding filmmaker and photographer based in CO, USA
Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where authenticity reigns supreme. My name is Sarah and I’m originally a Midwest girl who moved to the mountains years ago, met my husband (Matt), picked up a camera and here we are. I’m honestly straight up honored to have a front seat to so many new beginnings. I see my role of documenting as someone who is there to encourage, subtly capture, and hand back to you memories both artistic and accurate that honor marriage and shares your love for generations.

raw & real memories to keep for a lifetime

Authentic. you can FEEL it.
First looks with Dad (or Mom). Getting nervous before walking down the aisle. Smiling SO big you look crazZy after being pronounced husband and wife. It’s these moments that keep me in this career. I’m committed to putting them together in a way that keeps the integrity of your day, but also highlights the raw emotion.

Unscripted, imperfection
Weddings are shaped by words. It's your vows that tell the story They know you so much better. So do your family and friends. I'm listening and learning all day. As the day unfolds I feel no need to fit the mold of every shot being perfectly steady but rather leting the imperfection of a moment transport you back,
The moments you want to keep
An 8 hour wedding day is 480 minutes, which is 28,800 seconds. This is where months of preparation come to fruition, where friends and families travel to greet you and each other. Let me put a bug in your ear to *don’t let it slip away*. - your details, your people, your moments.
genuine tears, genuine people, candid moments & beautiful places
Last but not least...we're always looking forward to the party on the dance floor
